Collages are a creative way to memorialize traditional occasions, like weddings, but collage technique is flexible enough to work with any set of images.
The collage on the right was made with images from a sea canoeing trip around Greenland. The images provided great details for the collage, and besides the canoers we included a few canoes, wildlife, flora, a spectacular iceberg - and all from the perspective of peeking out a tent!
block collages
Sometimes a collage works best if subjects are not cut out of the image, or maybe you just want the images put together whole. In block collages we generally leave images whole, composing them in a fitting arrangement and adding background detail where appropriate.
In the block collage to the right the little duck is perfectly adorable on its own. We simply added a digital mat and frame to highlight the quirky fun of these shots. In other block collages, like the one on the left, we may add small touches, or make little cut-outs, to make your block collage that much more eye catching and special.
pop art
This technique was of course made famous by American artist Andy Warhol. Fortunately for the rest of us, computers and digital photo editing have made it possible to reproduce these effects without Warhol's Factory.

photo restoration & tinting
Life takes its toll on photos, and we're prepared to help. We restore color photos that have faded over time, and we also do repair work. Mouse over the image on the left to see the restored photo.
We love black and white photography, but sometimes a black and white photo will really come to life with a little color. In this case we increased the contrast, did a bit of touch up and tinted areas of the photo to give the whole thing a little boost - mouse over the image to see the results. And of course this technique can have stunning results with vintage black and white photos.
commissions & special orders
If you have an idea for a collage but don't have the images for it we accept commissions and special orders. What makes these different from a regular collage is that we are tasked with sourcing, taking or creating images and designs for the work.
